Born in 1980, he graduated in Law with a thesis on Comparative Private Law at the University of Macerata.
He has always been involved in consultancy and legal research on agricultural law and taxation of agricultural activities.
In addition to his consulting activities first as a barrister and then as the owner of DE MICCOLIS CONSULTNG SRLS, he is the owner of the Masseria Salamina company, an established brand of organic extra virgin olive oil and renowned agritourism company, whose centrepiece is the 17th-century Masseria Salamina, located in Fasano, a company at the forefront of sustainability and agricultural multifunctionality, becoming a ‘Case of Study’ within the project Agri-multifunctionality II, promoted by the DG Culture and Education of the EU, project ‘Sistema de adaptaciòn a la multifunctionalidad para jovenes agricultores”. In 2009 he won the Oscar Green Coldiretti award, sponsored by the President of the Italian Republic.
Always a passionate producer of EVOO oil, he is also a technician and expert in virgin and extra virgin oils.
He has participated in the drafting of projects and bills on agriculture and agrotourism and has held numerous positions within agricultural associations. Since 2009 he has been Member of the Advisory board of Comitato di Sorveglianza PSR Programma di Sviluppo Rurale Puglia 2014/2020 (Reg. CEE 1303/2013 art. 47), Monitoring Committee for PSR Puglia 2020, Italy – Rural Development Programme (Regional) – Puglia.
From 2018 (in charge) is
– President of Federazione Provinciale Coldiretti Brindisi, the most representative and important association of farmers of Italy.
– President of Terranostra Puglia, the most representative and important association of agritourism of Italy.
– Board member of Federazione Regionale Coldiretti Puglia
– Board member of Impresa Verde Puglia srl,
– Board member of Terranostra – National Board the most representative and important association of agritourism of Italy.
He conducted in 2021 as an international expert a study Analysis of agritourism in Albania and recommendations for an Albanian agritourism model, through the support of the Sustainable Rural Development Program of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ GmbH).
In 2022 he participated in the drafting of the National Strategy for the Development of Agritourism in Albania in the framework of the Sustainable Rural Development Program, Implemented by GIZ Albania, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
