Mattia has over 20 years’ experience in international development cooperation and leads Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit’s (GIZ) Sustainable Rural Development Program in Albania. He has worked for GIZ in South Africa, Botswana, Germany and now Albania. Mattia has delivered projects aimed at trade facilitation, local economic development, market development and regional economic integration, with a specialisation in developing public-private dialogue and action.
