With rich experiences in tourism sector from working at Slovenian Tourist Board to managing marketing department in one of the biggest tour operator in Slovenia to managing a marketing agency specialized in tourism. With a passion and devotion to develop and lead tourism growth in sustainable way Jana took the opportunity and established with 12 co-founders a non for profit institute Factory of sustainable tourism GoodPlace. Since than she is acting as managing director and is responsible for development. One of key activities of Institute GoodPlace (www.goodplace.si) is also development of sustainable tourism products, which lead to establishing a separate independent company a travel agency Visit GoodPlace (www.visit-goodplace.com) focusing on green and active travel where I have a role of co-owners.
GoodPlace developed Slovenia Green certification scheme for Slovenian Tourist Board, is accredited partner for implementation and a coordinator of Slovenia Green Consortium. Trough the consortium GoodPlace aims to simulate development of sustainable tourism offer its promotion and sales.
